Yates, Amarillo Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
The Amarillo Sod Poodles locked up a win at Hodgetown, knocking off the Birmingham Barons, 2-0. On the mound for Amarillo was right-hander Gabe Yates. He played a major role in the triumph. Steve Bernier earned the save, his 6th. The last-place Sod Poodles lifted their record to 15-29.
