Biloxi got a strong outing from Nelson Castro as the Shuckers defeated the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 4-1, at MGM Park. Biloxi currently is in 8th place in the TX/SL Southern League at 14-18.

Biloxi took a 2-1 lead on Bill Flores's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Flores hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Pensacola pitcher Branden Bertelsen visibly frustrated.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Flores told the Biloxi Today.
