The Midland RockHounds handed the Amarillo Sod Poodles a 5-3 defeat in 10 innings at Hodgetown. Catcher Jesus Gonzales starred for Midland. He went 5-5 with 5 singles. Sean Barer was credited with the save for Midland, his 10th of the season. The wins continue to add up for Midland. The latest makes it 8 in a row.

Midland used the timely hitting of Jaime Bills to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the RockHounds on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
