Big Day for Messerly as Brewers Down Reds, 8-5

Getting a good performance from shortstop Nate Messerly, the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Cincinnati Reds, 8-5. Messerly was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Brewers. Milwaukee is now 12-8.
In the top of the fourth inning, Milwaukee got a key at-bat from Messerly. With two outs, runners on 1st and 2nd and the Brewers trailing 5-2, Messerly hit a 3-run home run.
