|
Bobby Foster left his imprint on the 7-3 Richmond win against the Portland Sea Dogs. Foster, the 28th overall pick in the 2056 draft, went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3. Danny Contreras got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 6 innings. Frank Villegas wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.
In the bottom of the first inning, left fielder Brian Poliskin had a run-scoring double for Richmond. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Flying Squirrels on top, 1-0.
