At Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Altoona Curve were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Altoona Curve faced a tough opponent in New Hampshire pitcher Mitch Walker, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium by a final score of 6-5. Walker went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Altoona pitcher Victor Gaitan got the win. He's now 2-0. Johnny Campbell was tagged with the loss.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the ninth, Steve Takaki grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Curve took the lead, 6-5.

"Winning is not something we take for granted," Takaki said.

With the loss, New Hampshire drops to 6-6.
