San Diego turned a good effort from starting pitcher Josh Thoele into a win over the New York Mets at The Big Apple. The final score was 1-0 in 11 innings. Jon Pasquariello, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The Mets fall to 5-8 and continue their sputtering start to the 2059 season.

Thoele dominated for San Diego, raising his record to 3-0. New York hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 10 innings while striking out 6.
