The Milwaukee Brewers powered past the San Francisco Giants, 9-0, at Miller Park. Dustin Wheelock provided some of the pop. Husk was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Ben McGlade earned the win for Milwaukee. He lasted 7 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 2-1. The loss has the Giants at 5-6.
With Milwaukee leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Wheelock hit a sinker from Jimmy Marang for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Brewers ahead, 3-0.
"It's always extra special to win at home," said Wheelock.
