Mariners Roll to 11-3 Win Over Bobcats
|
Mike Moak helped his team muscle past the Cleveland Bobcats, 11-3. In the game, the Seattle third baseman was 2-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Mike Willis, the winning pitcher, is now 2-0. He went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits, while fanning 6 and walking 1. The win leaves Seattle with a record of 3-2.
In the top of the fourth, Seattle second baseman Josh Valadez had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and two out, Valadez stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 2-0, Seattle. For the game, he went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Moak.
