Hall Socks 2 Home Runs in 6-2 Altoona Win
|
Chris Hall knocked in all 6 runs for the Altoona Curve, helping them beat the Reading Fightin Phils, 6-2. Chris Collazo picked up the win with 7.2 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 10-6. With the win over Reading, the Curve improved to 84-53.
With Altoona leading 2-1 in the top of the second, Hall came up to bat against Reading pitcher C.J. Boytim. Hall hit a fastball to left for a grand slam home run. His 10th home run of the season put the Curve on top, 6-1.
