RubberDucks Suffer 4-2 Loss to Fisher Cats
|
New Hampshire shortstop Josh Bradford helped his team beat the Akron RubberDucks, 4-2. Bradford went 2 for 3 for the Fisher Cats. Olegário Pechim, who went 7.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 1. His record now stands at 2-0. The Fisher Cats go to 84-52, putting them first in the Eastern League Eastern Division.
Bradford made an early impact for New Hampshire when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the bottom of the second, put the Fisher Cats on top, 4-0.
Bradford called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
