Fightin Phils Earn 3-1 Road Win Over Binghamton
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old shortstop Eude Ayala, the Reading Fightin Phils stopped the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 3-1. The Fightin Phils improved their record to 74-57 by beating Binghamton.

Ayala had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 changeup from Andy Burg, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Fightin Phils a 2-1 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Ayala.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Ayala.
