Albino Lifts Curve to 12-3 Triumph
The Altoona Curve had no problem beating the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 12-3, at People's Natural Gas Field. Julio Albino, who is tied for 9th in the EL in stolen bases with 26, led the onslaught. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for Altoona. The first-place Curve now have a record of 82-53.

With Altoona leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Albino hit a fastball from Tristan Giese for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Curve ahead, 5-0.

"Nice to score a bunch of runs," said Albino after the game.
