Guevera Lifts Rumble Ponies to 10-3 Win
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies topped the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 10-3, in Eastern League action at NYSEG Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Binghamton first baseman Arturo Guevera. Joe Newsome got the win, improving to 2-1. He held the Flying Squirrels to 2 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1. Binghamton is last in the Eastern League Eastern Division with a record of 56-78.

Early in the game, right fielder Bob Holley had a 2-run double for Binghamton. It was his 12th double of the season and put the Rumble Ponies on top, 2-0.
