Senators Defeated, 9-5, After Binghamton Rallies
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies defeated the Harrisburg Senators, 9-5, in part because of designated hitter Demitri Emmons. Emmons went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Rumble Ponies. Binghamton reliever Ki-ho Kim was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0. Jon Rodriguez took the loss for Harrisburg. Danny Berger nailed down the save.

Mike Hibben came through with a big-time hit for Binghamton. The pinch hitter smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 9-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Hibben.

By defeating Harrisburg, the 4th-place Rumble Ponies improved to 58-67.
