New Hampshire Loses, 8-4, to Trenton in 11
The Trenton Thunder picked up a win at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, knocking off the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 8-4, in 11 innings. Starting pitcher Mike Whitesides played a key role in the triumph. Ben Belanger was called on to finish, recording his 14th save. Trenton occupies third place in the Eastern League Eastern Division at 69-50.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Chris Kincheloe came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing New Hampshire pitcher C.J. Hoeth, he hit a 0-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Trenton on top, 4-3.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Whitesides.
