The Binghamton Rumble Ponies defeated the Reading Fightin Phils by the score of 9-7, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Danny Bojorquez. Bojorquez went 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Rumble Ponies on the day. Binghamton reliever Alex Pineda picked up the win to move to 3-1. Rob Cotton suffered the loss. Ruben Samora earned his 2nd save in 2 chances.

With Binghamton leading 7-6 in the top of the seventh, Bojorquez hit a 2-run single off Reading hurler Mike Marte. It was the 19th hit of the season for Bojorquez and put his team ahead, 9-6.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Bojorquez told the Binghamton Chronicle. "But we take nothing for granted."
