Akron starter Mike Larson pitched well against the Harrisburg Senators at FNB Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. Getting the save was Tim Lehmen, his 19th. The RubberDucks saw their win-loss record go to 41-74. At the same time, the Senators fell to 68-47.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Alex Cortes? The Akron third baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the RubberDucks on top, 3-2. For the game, Cortes had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
