In a low-scoring affair between the Trenton Thunder and the Akron RubberDucks, pitcher Mike Bailey was the difference between victory and defeat. The Trenton right-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 Thunder win. Reliever Ben Belanger picked up the win. His record improves to 5-1. Pat Arvidson took the loss. The losses continue to add up for Akron, having now dropped 9 straight.

Dan Boomsma was the walk-off hero for Trenton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Thunder left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was rockin'," Boomsma said.
