Senators Paste 5-3 Loss on Thunder
|
The Harrisburg Senators handed the Trenton Thunder a 5-3 defeat at Arm & Hammer Park. First Baseman Josh Ogden starred for Harrisburg. He was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was Bob Colletti. His record now stands at 1-2. The right-hander went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits for the Senators. The Senators have an impressive 66-32 record.
Ogden had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Alex Lomas, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Senators a 5-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Ogden.
"We ground out the win," said Ogden. "That's all that matters."
