The Harrisburg Senators defeated the Altoona Curve, 7-2, in part because of right fielder Josh Ogden. Ogden went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Senators. Jim Parish picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 5-0. Cesar Rivera suffered the loss. The Senators improved their record to 61-29 with the win over Altoona.

Harrisburg pinch hitter Jimmy Powell contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 6th hit of the season and put the Senators ahead, 5-2.

"I still think this team can play even better," Ogden told the Harrisburg Gazette.
