The Reading Fightin Phils got a good effort from starter Chris McMahon in defeating the Altoona Curve at FirstEnergy Stadium. The final score was 4-2. Reading has won 3 straight, while Altoona has lost 3 in a row.

Reading went up, 3-2, on Sam Keeley's 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Keeley hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Altoona pitcher Gary Peterson shaking his head.
