At The Diamond, the Richmond Flying Squirrels and Binghamton Rumble Ponies were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Curt Lee was brilliant in helping Binghamton beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 6-0. With the win, the Rumble Ponies have a record of 35-45.

Lee was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 3-0. In 8.2 innings of work, Lee gave up no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 6. The Flying Squirrels were never able to generate much offense.

"I can't say enough about Curt," said Binghamton manager . "He stepped up when we needed him."
