Binghamton Beats Richmond, 6-3

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies knocked off the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 6-3, in Eastern League action at NYSEG Stadium. Binghamton pitcher and Enfield, Connecticut, native Brad Nagel had an outstanding performance. The last-place Rumble Ponies are 30-46.
The Rumble Ponies got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Bobby Fischer, who in the bottom of the sixth hit a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Rumble Ponies on top, 6-3.
Binghamton manager commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
