The New Hampshire Fisher Cats took Trenton pitcher Danny Loera's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Arm & Hammer Park. The final score had New Hampshire getting past the Thunder, 6-5. Loera went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 4. C.J. Hoeth notched his 13th save in 16 chances. The first-place Fisher Cats have a record of 41-23.

It could have been a different outcome for New Hampshire, had it not been for Mike Sickles, the 36-year old second baseman . Sickles contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the tenth inning to put New Hampshire up, 6-5.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Trenton manager .
