Thunder Earn 3-1 Home Win

The Trenton Thunder topped the Reading Fightin Phils, 3-1, in Eastern League action at Arm & Hammer Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Trenton pitcher Devon Blackburn. Blackburn picked up the win for Trenton, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 3-2. Dan Tenney collected save number 3.
Mike Roos came through for Trenton when he hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the third. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a two-strike cutter to center field, staking his team to a 3-1 lead.
"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Blackburn.
The 'W' lifts Trenton's record to 31-21.
