Baltimore Beats Cleveland, 6-4
|
Cleveland left fielder Tony Haro had a good game, even if his team did not. The Bobcats dropped a 6-4 decision to Baltimore at Arhaus. Haro went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. Doug Gilroy notched his 24th save in 31 chances. The Orioles go to 61-98 with the win.
Mike Hummel had a big 2-run home run for the Orioles in the top of the fourth inning. With Baltimore leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a changeup from Javion Williams, who is tied for 10th in the AL in innings pitched with 190.0, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Orioles on top, 3-0.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Hummel told reporters after the game.
