Tachiquin Stars for Bobcats in 6-5 Win
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Cleveland Bobcats and Chicago White Sox.
Behind the hitting of Victor Tachiquin, the Cleveland Bobcats clipped the Chicago White Sox, 6-5. Tachiquin was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Bobcats. Kody Jackson earned the save for Cleveland, his 24th.
Cleveland used the timely hitting of Dave Seman to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bobcats on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
Seman said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
Cleveland, at 48-94, sits in last place in the American League Central Division.
