Milwaukee catcher Josh LaPiana had a 3-RBI game, leading his team in its 7-6 defeat of the New York Mets. LaPiana picked up 1 single and 1 double in the ballgame. Milwaukee is now 89-50, 11½ games up in the National League Central Division.
Jarrod Ramirez was the walk-off hero for Milwaukee. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Brewers third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
