Orioles Lose, 6-1, at Richter Field
|
Baltimore had no answer for Minnesota Twins starter Steve Musser, who flummoxed Orioles hitters as the Twins cruised to victory, 6-1. With the victory, the Twins record stands at 74-54.
Minnesota took a 5-1 lead on Andy Stewart's 20th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Stewart hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Baltimore pitcher Curt Gamel visibly frustrated.
"Steve was aggressive right out of the chute," said Minnesota manager Jared Twins GM.
