Twins Get Dramatic 5-3 Triumph
The Minnesota Twins topped the Carolina Stingrays by a score of 5-3. Leading the way was first baseman Steve Speas. Speas was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Twins. The Twins now have a mark of 68-57.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Speas hit a curveball from Juan Alvarez for a 2-run home run. The Twins, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Speas said.
