The Altoona Curve rode a solid performance from 24-year-old starting pitcher Robbie Carey to a win, beating the Erie SeaWolves, 9-2, at People's Natural Gas Field. Altoona is now 28-13. Erie is 11-30.

The Curve picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Carey.
