Riding the 2-hit performance of designated hitter Josh Wood, the New York Yankees got a road win against the Las Vegas Athletics, 10-7, in Game 3 of the Division Series. Wood was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Yankees, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Rhylan Jauch helped out the New York cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder drove in one run.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Robin Hawkins.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at MGM Grand Field in Oakland.
