Killer Whales Dominate, Sweep Final Stage

Harry Pritchard said he expected the Final Stage to be "a battle from start to finish."
In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Soweto Killer Whales encountered little resistance in sweeping the Brakpan Blue Wings, to advance to the Japan Series.
"It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Pritchard.
Soweto won the final game by a 5-3 count and were led in the series by Pritchard, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .444 with 2 home runs. He also drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Soweto Killer Whales will play against the Krugersdorp Blue Jays in the next round. Krugersdorp won their series against the Cape Town Lords 3 games to 0. The Japan Series schedule will be announced after the Final Stage finishes.
