Blitzed by Reategui, Travelers, Senators Sink Further in R2
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of center fielder Dave Reategui, the Arkansas Travelers stopped the visiting Harrisburg Senators, 4-1, in Game 2 of the Round 2. Reategui went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Travelers, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.
Had Reategui not come through in the bottom of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Reategui hit a 3-run home run. The Travelers took the lead, 4-1, and never looked back.
"Every team in baseball loses," Senators manager said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 20th , 2059 at FNB Field in Harrisburg.
