Orioles Lose By a Run at Washington
Washington center fielder Josh Edgell made his presence felt in the 7-6 Nationals triumph over the Baltimore Orioles. Edgell went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Washington pitcher Ed Grubb got the win. He's now 4-1. Kevin Della Ratta was tagged with the loss. With the win, Washington raised its record to 58-33.

One of the key players for the Nationals was catcher Chad Day, who drilled a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, Day was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Nationals manager Deran Sanchez.
