Astros Use Late Surge to Win
The Arizona Diamondbacks got a sterling performance from pitcher Sam Bazydlo, but the Houston Astros still prevailed, 3-1. Bazydlo threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Houston reliever Chris Miller was the winner. His record is now 5-1. The losing pitcher was Victor Escamilla. At 44-48, the Astros are currently last in the American League West Division.

Houston took a 2-1 lead on Tim Clark's 8th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Clark hit in the top of the eighth, left Arizona pitcher Victor Escamilla visibly frustrated.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Clark told the Houston Herald.
