Mariners Get Hard-Earned Win
|
The Seattle Mariners topped the San Francisco Giants, 4-3, in American League action at T-Mobile Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Seattle pitcher Dan Hamrick. The Mariners now own a record of 51-38.
Robby Abila cracked a home run off Brandon LaBoo in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run blast put the Mariners on top, 4-3. In all, Abila had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Abila told the Seattle Herald.
