Cubs Come Back Late to Clip Marlins

The Cubs grabbed a win, 4-3, at Caterpillar Field, overcoming a fine effort from Miami pitcher Jimmy Yepez. Yepez went 6 innings and allowed no runs. Sam Hatfield closed it out for Chicago, earning his 18th save. The win elevated the Cubs to 46-43.
Eric Bachmann chipped in for Chicago, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the eighth inning. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4.
In postgame remarks, Bachmann hailed his team's "mettle."
