The Minnesota Twins downed the Las Vegas Athletics, 8-3, at MGM Grand Field. Steve Dillahunty led the way, going 2-for-4 for Minnesota. The winning pitcher was Steve Fennell. He tossed 92 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits. The second-place Athletics have lost 4 straight games.
