Big Day for O'Brien in 5-2 White Sox Win
|
The Chicago White Sox knocked off the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-2, at SouthSide. Danny O'Brien was a big reason Chicago won. The first baseman went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The White Sox upped their record to 46-36.
O'Brien contributed in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Chicago get the win.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," O'Brien told the Chicago Observer.
