LumberKings Get Clutch Win, 3-2

The Clinton LumberKings scored a tight, 3-2 win versus the Lake County Captains at NelsonCorp Field. Clinton pitcher Adrian Abreu held his own in the contest. The win went to Mike Yoke in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Danny Nichols took the loss. The 'W' lifts Clinton's record to 74-47.
Branden McGary was the walk-off hero for Clinton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the LumberKings designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Adrian was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Clinton manager .
