The Arizona Diamondbacks topped the San Francisco Giants, 4-3, in National League action at Dr. Pepper Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Arizona pitcher and El Monte, California, native Kellen Goodin. The winner was Goodin. He threw 5.0 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Jesus Ojeda.
