In a high-scoring game between Cleveland and Texas, third baseman Jon Raffa was a difference-maker. The 23-year-old helped Cleveland grab the 13-8 win. He went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Bobcats, at 24-46, sit in 4th place in the American League Central Division.

Tied up with the Rangers in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Bobcats got a boost from left fielder Andy Joyner. With the bases loaded, Joyner saw a 1-0 fastball from Ruben Rivero and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Cleveland on top, 9-7.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Raffa told the Cleveland Bulletin. "You win just by scoring more runs."
