Kevin Weeks was a vital contributor to the 7-0 Detroit victory over Cincinnati. The Tigers catcher belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Joe Reardon finished the game for Detroit and earned his 1st save. The third-place Tigers lifted their record to 31-39.
