Rosencrans has 3 hits as Blue Jays Squeeze Past Washington
|
The Toronto Blue Jays topped the Washington Nationals by a score of 5-4. Leading the way was center fielder Jared Rosencrans. Rosencrans went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Blue Jays. Toronto's record now stands at 31-36, placing them 4th in the American League East Division.
Rosencrans had a key at-bat for Toronto in the top of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Toronto an early 3-1 lead.
