Quad Cities Beats Dayton, 3-0
|
Tim Odette was on the winning side of a pitcher's duel at Day Air Ballpark. In fact, the Quad Cities River Bandits right-hander was instrumental in his team's 3-0 victory over the Dayton Dragons. Quad Cities, now 31-15, holds down second place in the Midwest League Western Division.
In the bottom of the eighth, Dayton had the makings of a rally. The score was 3-0, Quad Cities, with no one out and a runner on 1st. But on a 1-0 pitch, Sam Adams hit into a double play.
