Dragons Get Past West Michigan, 7-6
Day Air Ballpark was the site of some high drama.

West Michigan first baseman Bobby Vitali was sensational. He went 2 for 3 with a double and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Dayton beat the Whitecaps, 7-6, in 10 innings. Dayton reliever Josh Pretz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-4. Dan Foley took the loss.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Whitecaps allowed the Dragons to score the winning run.

"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Carrillo.

Dayton bumps their record to 18-20 with the win.
