Seattle took on Minnesota in front of a lively crowd.
The Seattle Mariners stopped the Minnesota Twins, 4-2, at Richter Field. The Mariners got a big game from Jason Cunningham, who went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. With the win, the Mariners improved to 28-22.
Cunningham had a key at-bat for Seattle in the top of the second. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave Seattle an early 2-0 lead.
Seattle manager Joel Mariners praised his team's "energy."
