Flying Squirrels Fall Short, 4-3, at Reading
In a close game at FirstEnergy Stadium, the Reading Fightin Phils edged the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 4-3. Reading third baseman C.C. Bush stood apart with his performance. He was 3-3 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Reading reliever Joe Armenio was credited with the win. His record goes to 2-0. David Derks took the loss for Richmond. Luis Amaya recorded his 1st save for Reading.

Reading took the lead, 4-3, on Zach Kessel's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run came off Richmond pitcher David Derks in the bottom of the seventh.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Kessel. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
